TERAFEST® façade cladding allows you to create a design that perfectly matches the character of the building. Depending on the type of profiles chosen and their spacing, they can either completely cover the façade or, conversely, create a semi-transparent structure that lets light through and lends the façade a sense of lightness.
Furthermore, thanks to the various widths and thicknesses of the profiles, it is possible to achieve a highly textured surface and an interesting interplay of light and shadow. The cladding thus naturally unifies the individual parts of the building whilst offering all the benefits of TERAFEST® composite wood – high durability, colour fastness and minimal maintenance requirements.
Is the TERAFEST® façade suitable for both detached houses and apartment blocks?
Yes. TERAFEST® composite wood cladding and profiles are suitable for both detached houses and residential and commercial buildings.
However, for taller buildings, it is always necessary to consult a fire safety engineer, who will assess the suitability of the cladding system for the specific building.
Can these profiles be used to create both fully enclosed and partially open façades?
Yes. Facade profiles can be installed either without gaps as a solid cladding, or with gaps that create a semi-transparent structure. This allows you to control the amount of light, shade and the visual lightness of the facade.
What are the options for the design and orientation of the profiles?
TERAFEST® façade profiles can be installed horizontally, vertically or at an angle. By combining different widths, thicknesses and spacings, it is possible to create a façade with striking depth and architectural rhythm.
How is a composite wood cladding installed?
Facade profiles are mounted onto a supporting grid, usually made of aluminium; for detached houses or smaller installations, a wooden grid may also be used. Illustrated installation
